It is with sadness, but mostly with overwhelming gratitude, that we announce San Francisco Athletic Club is closing its doors. We have had a truly incredible 11-year run, filled with excitement, laughter and some of the best moments in sports - all watched and celebrated together. We end this chapter with a lifetime of memories we will cherish.

It has been a tough road since the pandemic, but it was worth the fight. Closing up shop has been one of the hardest decisions we have ever had to make, mostly because we have not wanted to say goodbye to our incredible staff and amazing community.

We want to thank every single one of you who supported us over the past decade, whether with just one appearance, or with countless visits over the years. To our super regulars - you know who you are - we are sincerely grateful.

The biggest thanks of all goes to our team, from our day-oners, to the crew we have today. Although people have come and gone over the years, we have always had such an amazing group who have all played an important part in making SFAC the best sports bar around.

While SFAC is closing, the space at 1750 Divisadero is being passed on to another operator, Mike Najjar, who is planning to keep the location operating as a sports bar. We have come to know Mike over the past few months and he is excited to bring his own version of a sports bar to the neighborhood. We wish him the best of luck.

Our last day will be this Sunday, August 3rd. We would love to see you over the next few days for a last drink and farewell, so come on down.
